Cultiveren’s mission is to assist entrepreneurs and business leaders with actionable resources for cultivating sustainable growth in and the capacity to scale their business.
It is important for businesses at all levels to understand why they do what you do, where they are going and how they will get there. Meaningful progress and sustainable outcomes can be achieved. Strategic planning and management systems drive accountable execution and provide business leaders with confidence in their decisions and that their business is rooted in a firm foundation from which to operate, grow and scale.

Hello there!
I’m Katie
Moving back to my hometown in Sussex County, New Jersey from New York City renewed my passion for entrepreneurship, and for businesses and their impact on communities. In my career at Deloitte, I had the privilege of working with executives across business functions to develop strategies, provide transparency and drive accountability to achieve results. I knew I needed to embrace this moment of transition and explore how I might be able to connect with what I’m passionate about and share my career experiences in a new way.
After over 20 years in the professional services industry, I decided to take the leap to launch my own business, Cultiveren, in 2022. I am excited to share my knowledge of strategic planning, leadership alignment and operational execution to assist business leaders as they establish foundational disciplines from which to grow and scale their organization.

…what Cultiveren means?
Cultiveren—the Dutch translation of the word cultivate—is a word reflective of our founder’s Dutch heritage and family history in agriculture and gardening. The word cultivate is a verb, an action, which can be applied broadly from the meaning to prepare an environment to raise crops as well as to foster growth; to improve by labor, care, or study; to further; to encourage, to make friends with. We aspire to continue to cultivate growth in our own lives, in the businesses and communities in which we lead, and in our relationships with one another. Our hope is that this word inspires purpose-driven action to cultivate growth where you are. What are you cultivating today?
